Scouting Report

Quick trip to Northern WI to scout for an upcoming bicycle trip. Found some hills for the group and just enough sweet roads and routes. Michigan roads are not to be trusted, they generally turn to dirt after a short bit. There will be bugs, and pasties!

4609 Colfax

Decided to finally stop talking and start doing. After 18 years at 4609, our house is on the market. Last weekend was a frenzy of packing and cleaning, realtor open house on Tuesday, three showings so far. Patched and painted the sunroom in between.

I’ll tell you this. Having the house ready for showings is like handling raw chicken. You have to assume everything you touch becomes contaminated and must be cleaned, polished and put back. Nice tho, to get rid of the clutter. The basement never looked so good.

Here’s Barb at Town Hall, trying to act pious while the priests behind ready their incense burners to smite any Maibock non-believers. Our kind of religion (and Gary, Joni, K2, Kay, Jim too)! Free Maibock for the blessing. We’ve got to get to church more often.
