Road Trip

Six weeks of rain. It may be the wettest three months in our history. But this week is finally clear, dry…and cool. So I took a mid-week, overnight ramble to Lacrosse, WI and coulee country.

Great terrain, excellent roads. A touch of fall left in the trees. Just me and about every single tractor, combine, hayrake, baler and honey wagon in the area. Anytime now, it could be too late to make hay while the sun shines. And we all know it.
