I told Dan I'd do the metric century, if he pulled all day. All day. For the price of a double espresso and a scone (it was a good scone) he did. All over Portage and Waupaca counties. Into the STIFF 25 mph steady winds on the return. We got stood up almost to the single digits mph on the way back. Amazingly, also up to to 20 mph upwind stretches. He's an animal. 

Knowing I was but a wheelsucker, I tried not to whinge too much. I'm not proud. But I did hang on.
